AMS HT, just got it, out of the box, plugged it in,NOTHING TURNS ON, no lights, no sound, etc, etc. I just wanted it to dehydrate some filament, put the roll in, not running filament through it het, just heat it and dry it.
any assistance appreciated, i sent in a support ticket

You connected it to your printer right? By itself, just plugging it in does nothing

It should also be noted that you need to be running 1.09+ firmware and you need to update before plugging the AMS HT in.

i did NOT have it plugged into the other ams. i did NOT have a cord (6 pin cord) come with the unit … UNTIL… I went back to the styrofoam insert, and the 6-pin cord was stuffed into the UPPER part of the styrofoam, hidden !!! I plugged the AMS HT into my current AMS, and VOILA - i have a display ! I was slightly disappointed, as i thought this was a standalone-able dehydrator, i don’t like keeping the printer on concurrently, but it goes into standby, lights are out, so i guess no big deal.
