AMS HT often shows a temperature much lower than the actual one

For a few weeks now, I’ve noticed that the AMS HT displays a temperature much lower than the actual one when it isn’t drying. Often, after turning it on, the displayed temperature progressively drops from ambient levels to values as much as 20°C lower.

When I start the drying process, I get a message stating that the ambient temperature is too low; shortly after, the displayed value starts rising again until it reaches the correct level.

More rarely I get a “drying error” message and see that the displayed temperature is up to 10°C higher than the set temperature (e.g., for PLA, it rises and stabilizes at 55°C).

I’ve already checked the connector on the motherboard, but the problem persists.
Everything returns to normal disconnecting the power, turning off the printer, and restart the whole system.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I bought it just over a year ago; if I can’t resolve the issue, I’ll open a support ticket.

IMHO the HT cooked itself (assuming it worked properly in the first place). The internal electronics are sitting unprotected in moist hot air. I’d definitely raise a support ticket and stop drying in it.

A few days ago, I repeated the process of unplugging and reconnecting the temperature sensor connector; it seems everything is back to normal now—the AMS HT has stopped showing North Pole-like temperatures and is no longer giving me drying error messages.
Let’s hope that does the trick.
