I just got in am AMS HT, I have a original AMS and a p2s plus my mini.
I have used the standard AMS on both printers no issues, however on the mini the AMSHT does not recognize bambu RFID unless I click refresh on the machine, and when it finally does see it there is no filament remaining indicator.
May sound dumb but that creature comfort is one of my favorite things about the AMS.
Is this an A1 mini issue or is my product defective?
On the original AMS when I load filament it pulls some in, then pushes it back, THEN pushes the filament out to the buffer THEN brings it all the way back. By this time the RFID is fully read. The AMS ht is not doing this. It is just doing the initial couple inches into the tube and pulling back.
I’m an idiot. With my original AMS on both machines I did not have to change settings. All of the RFID reading settings were turned off by default for the HT. This wasn’t the case for the other one.
Sorry for the post I would delete it if I can, and thanks for the help.
The other issue I’ve found is that while the AMS HT does read the RFID tag for TPU 90A, it won’t load that filament and it remains in the “Ext” slot.
Would be nice if it could still be used for drying settings, but it doesn’t seem to be.
