Having issues with the AMS hub on my A1 mini, it is not feeding filament thought the nozzle, it gets to the hotend, but keeps failing as if the nozzle is clogged, tried with AMS HT and AMS 2 pro, I tried using the AMS hub from my P1S and works fine, anyone else having similar issues
No such issue here - make sure your PTFE tubes are cut square, not collapsed, and are fully inserted. May also be a good idea to take a look inside to see if there’s a bit of broken filament or other debris blocking a passage.
I was thinking i might try and disassemble the hub and see, i used the same ptfe tubes etc with the p1s ams hub and all working fine so far
I’m having a similar issue. I’ve disassembled the toolhead to the point where I can see the motor and the yellow gear.
When I go to load filament, the motor vibrates but does not turn. I’ve also checked the tension on the spring-loaded guide, to ensure it’s not too tight. (In fact, the motor does not turn even when I hold the spring all the way out.)
You can disassemble to the point where it’s just the extruder motor gear sticking out, see if it’s able to turn. If it can’t, you may have a dead extruder motor.
I think you’re right. Bambu support agrees and is sending a replacement component. I knew that buying a printer meant learning how to disassemble a printer. Bummer that it happened so soon after purchase, but all in all no big deal.
