This is a bug report.
I have two black filaments in the AMS. One is set to Overture PLA and the other is Generic PLA. When I tell Bambu Studio to print with the Generic PLA it ends up printing with the Overture PLA.
I’m guessing that one possible cause is that they’re set to the same color and the Overture PLA is in the first slot of the AMS. I’m aware that a workaround may be just to change the color setting on one of them. Any other thoughts are welcome!
Bear with me because I’m still in the early stages of AMS use.
I believe the correct work process is to open the devices setting in studio and from there, choose each ams slot and select a filament type. Apparently this doesn’t have any bearing on the actual filament used, as not all filament profiles are actually available (only ones you can select from studio’s limited range).
From there, go back and sync (or resync, I haven’t found a difference yet?) the filament list with the filaments in the AMS.
Then each filament can be selected and changed according to your profiles.
Then you select the model in objects and click the box and input the number next to the slot (or filament) you want the model to be printed with. You can just press the corresponding keypad number 1-4 to change it.
