AMS Lite Feature: Respool Filament

I recently purchased a spool of filament from a different company than Bambu Lab, and its hole for the spool holder is too large for my AMS. As a result, I need to respool it onto a Bambu Lab filament spool. I would appreciate a feature that turns the filament spool in the same direction as it would during retraction from the extruder, enabling me to simply hold the off-brand spool or 3D print a device that securely holds it. who agrees with me?

I think that won’t work very well. When respooling, you have to make sure that the filament is evenly distributed side to side. The AMS is ok for winding a few turns. But when you would use it for an entire spool, that would result in very uneven windings that might not even fit on the spool.

There are a bunch of respoolers available on makerworld, printables and other platforms.
I’m using the pastamatic pasta light receiver. That is one of the smallest regarding filament needed. But you will find many others.

For completely avoiding respooling, you could look for an adapter, that goes inside your third party spool to reduce the inner diameter. I think there are many available too. that would be my first choice.
