AMS Lite Filament Hub design flaw?

I’ve been having issues with filaments loading and tracked it down to a small lip inside the filament hub just above the lower exit hole, about 5-8mm up - See image showing approximate location inside the tube. I removed the hub and tried to manually push through filament, and it kept getting caught on this lip inside. It happens more when the spool is low, and the filament has more of a curve. I disassembled the hub and verified it was clean, with no blockages. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes! I have been having problems with the one of the connections not being able to push filament into hotend. After troubleshooting, I narrowed it down to the filament hub and the filament getting stuck exactly where you are saying. Did you find a solution to this? Did Bambu fix this problem if I were to purchase another filament hub? I’m currently trying to sand the lip down, but it is incredibly tight squeeze area.

FWIW, I purchased a spare hub to modify for 5 tubes. I just looked at it and I can not get the filament to hang anywhere, as long as the middle “divider” in installed.

For those with a problem, perhaps remove the divider part and then use a q-tip in a drill or dremmil chuck (from the top end of the hub) with some polishing compound to smooth it up. It can’t be that big of a lip.
