AMS-lite insertion issue vertical space

I just had a strange issue and I think I know why, but I don’t know how to solve without changing everything.

I have a A1 with AMS lite. Each is in a separate enclosure. but due to a vibration issue, I had to add a granite slab of 1.5in raising the unit. the feeding goes over the top bar, but when the unit head is high, it does move against the ceiling of the enclosure.

Is there a way to route the tubes so they can more easily adjust their height? or be more flexible to be twisted?

Could it simply be the holder/ y combiner that creates that issue? How to keep a 5 insertion?

The A series printers are designed to have the AMS site to the right of the printer as standard.

You have your printer at 90° and the PTFE tubes appear to be stretched to their limit given the angle you have them going through the plastic enclosure and how far the AMS is from the printer.

The actual PTFE tubes supplied are cut exactly as would be need to have a safe bend of the cables and a suitable distance when placed to the right.

Assuming your set up remains as is, I would suggest purchasing one or more lengths of PTFE tube (from BL, not all PTFE is the same) and cutting it into longer lengths suitable for the distance they must now span with extra for flex.

I wouldn’t recommend trying to curtail it location more than you have, it can cause rubbing, friction and possibly more damage if it gets stuck.

Those tubes are longer than the original. I was more thinking of removing my current y splitter abote the AMS lite Filament Hub, and instead replace the very top part of the hub (where there are the PTFE tub holder) by a 5 in 4 tube holder. I am searching for the dimension of that top part dimension.

All that is because I want to be able to use my external roller without needing to unhook a tube.

Any other suggestion open

You wrote about the routing and shared a photo of a broken PTFE part that sits on the the A series print head.

You can understand why I focused on that and not the final sentence that went in a different direction.

This one has good reviews.

My concern is this.
