AMS Lite led always flashing white

Bambu-Friese posted the above in another thread, and I too am having this issue since I replaced the filament sensor ribbon and base. Even when I have a different filament loaded, say from hub 2, the white led on the last Hub where filament has been inserted (i.e 3 or 4) is blinking, including the load filament indicator in the device tab in Bambu Studio. If i pull the filament out of AMS slot 4, then the flashing white led on the AMS goes out (turns off), but it is still flashing in Bambu Studo. If I turn off the A1 and back on again without any filament in slot 4, the led in slot 3 will blink even though the filament in slot 3 is not loaded in the hotend.

Any thoughts. Thanks

same exact problem, is happening from yesterday.
Even for me is the number 4 on the AMS mini. I think is a bug after the software update

I am having the same issue as described above. It doesn’t seem at this point to interfere with the function of the A1 Mini or the AMS Lite. But it is a worrisome annoyance.

Ardoedo95, could you pull the filament out of slot 4, restart you A1+ and see if the flashing led to to slot 3 with either no filament loaded or if loaded, loaded to slot 1 or 2. If it does then it is the same as my problem. Influenza, you are correct, it doesn’t interfere with printing but it is worrisome. But something isn’t right.

It’s a confirmed bug that will be fixed in a future update. Rolling back to the previous firmware fixes the issues.
Cheers

Thanks Steaneb, I knew some thing was wrong.

Using the Handy app on my Iphone I rolled back to previous firmware and the blinking white led went away, Now the annoying thing is the firmware update prompt shows up every time I turn on the printer, o well.

Yep…it gets annoying but and hopefully the update won’t be too far away.
Glad the rollback worked. It’s worth doing a recalibration when you roll back too… just to be safe.
Cheers

Will do. Thanks for the suggestion

I have 3 units doing the same thing! How do I roll back please

I just rolled mine back!
I sure hope oit fixes the problem

YEAH it fixed the problem on 2 of our 3 printers the 3rd one was never updated!

I hope Bambu fixes this soon. I’m staying with older firmware meantime. While the pulsing might not bother most people, for someone who have some conditions like me, it made me unable to sleep thinking about it.

Ross3D, I with you, I too hope they fix it soon, but at least the problem isn’t keeping me awake at nite. I hope you can focus on something else so you can get some sleep.

I’ve had the same problem, but I found if I unplugged the AMS and then plugged you back in again the light went out and everything seemed to work okay?

untill you shut down and turn the A1 back on. give it a try and let us know what happens

I’ve also had this problem since the last update (a very annoying one :expressionless:)

It’s good to know that it’s a reported bug and that it will be fixed in the future.

However, today I noticed that one of the AMS Lite has returned to normal (no more flashing lights), while the other remains the same. Looking at Bambu Studio, I also noticed that the AMS Lite that continues to flash has the arrow for slot 4 spinning continuously, while on the other all of them are completely still (as they should be). Honestly, I don’t know how to replicate whatever happened to the AMS Lite that is no longer flashing, because, contrary to what @tomchip mentioned, in my case I haven’t disconnected and reconnected the AMS since the last update. That said, it will probably start flashing again if I turn the A1 off and on again, so I guess our best option is to revert to the previous firmware version and wait for the new update fixing this bug :upside_down_face:

Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Allerdings scheint es lediglich nur eine optische Erscheinung zu sein die zur Verunsicherung führt. Ausser einer weiß pulsierenden LED läuft das AMS Lite bei mir einwandfrei. Daher warte ich das kommende Update ab.

Same problem here as well

What is the most stable version?
I’m having trouble sending AMS 4; they asked for a registration.
I couldn’t find a memory card reader today; it’s a joke :D.
I unplugged the AMS and plugged it back in, but it didn’t detect the filament because of the cable. It looks like the slot is broken after the update.
The filament is stuck.
The same thing happens with the older version; let’s see what support says.
