AMS lite wont print muiltcolors

hey gang
Iv had my A1 for afew months now and really getting into it so i thought id get the AMS lite.

so bought, waited and it showed up yesterday. i spent about 4 hours trying to get multicolored prints.

i cant figure out the issues at all.
It connects to the printer, shows up on filament touchscreen, shows up in the slicer, all colour matchs, and synced it. i cant figure out what im doing wrong.
Iv followed all manual instructions watched youtube intall guides, and have even done a uninstall/ factory reset on printer and computer and still cant figure it out.

i just watched it do a print, it says that it has 2x filament change times but i watched it and it didnt even seem like it attempted to change just printed in 1 color.
im really lost n struggling here as iv just spent another day trying to figure it out

Welcome to the forum.

Just for clarity, when you are sending your print to the printer you have the “Enable AMS” check box selected?

AMS lite wont print multicolored - Bambu Lab A1 Series / General Discussions - Bambu Lab Community Forum

Only available when sending a print from the printer (A1), they changed it in studio

If its plugged in, its on and you now choose which to use in a drop down box

as neilJT said they have removed the checkbox when sending to the printer.
i have been tho the drop down box so many times selecting filament and matching it up. it still wont work and im at a big loss as to why. i seem to be doing everything right but just wont print the colors, it did print the base color once and then changed over to thin air and printed the rest out of nothing. thats the closest iv gotten but havent been able to replicate it.

Are you using bambu lab filaments or generic ?
i noticed that if a generic filament isnt manually added in the printer itself, it doesnt show in the ams , you just get a slot with a little red circle inside, this slot can be picked and you will get unknown filament error ( it still prints )

after editing the printer

Are you using the synch tab to map ? rather than overwrite ( personally i think this is another unnecersary tab) and its better to manually edit colour ant type with the drop down boxes provided and in the printer as previously stated (generics)
