Printer randomly hard reset itself (full power cycle) while I was troubleshooting a “failed to pullback error”. When the printer came back on the AMS had no power, and now the 24V out from the printer at the 4 pin connector is dead, reading 0V. It appears I somehow lost my 24V supply inside the printer. O have opened a ticket, but curious if anybody has experienced this before?
I have not had this problem.
Is the AP board led or printer lcd screen still working I think it is by what you said ?
Have you checked the MC board ams connector or see if 24v @ the pin ?
Printer is currently printing completely fine via the normal spool reel. Seems to be only a 24V out from
The AMS plug issue as everything else is fine.
Well we know the 24v power supply is ok then I would check the ams connector @ the MC board and check the 4 pin harness from board to the back of the printer.
If that is all good then the MC board has failed to output 24v to ams.
Keep us updated
am currently having the same issues. I can’t open the AMS to get the board. Also printer print fine form normal spool.
Tbh i think there has been a surge on to the AMS that as cause this. it turned on and and then all of a sudden just short but the printer never powered down.
You’ll need to put a support ticket in. All the plugs on the AMS/Buffer/Extruder etc are not hot swappable and can cause issue if either loose or plugged while the printer is switched on, if you find a loose plug turn the printer off before going further. I had an AMS board fail and it wouldn’t power up or show on the screen.
