Due to illness I haven’t worked with the printer since July. Today was newbie day all over again. An update was done.
The AMS is not recognized by the printer. No lights. nothing
Checked connections and all are still seated.
What do I do now?
The only way to get power to the ams is by the black cable from the printer. You said they were seated, try reseating both connections. Hopefully the lights come on after you try.

While you were posting I was doing exactly that. A touch of dielectric grease on the connections was used for a little extra protection. Working now.
