I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue with their AMS 2 Pro or AMS filament loading during filament color change. seems like the rewind motor stays engaged and keeps the filament from spinning freely while it tries loading, the filament tries to load and but since the motor gear is still engaged it pulls and pulls which is actually putting a strain on the loading mechanism and forcing filament to load after like 6 or 7 tries it will unload filament and free the motor gear engagement to spin freely and proceed to load. this happens on all 3 of my AMS units. Also, inside where the gears are i can see fine partials of filament because of this issue.

I wish Bambu would have an AMS Update.

i brought the AMS for my P1P and so far i cannot get it to auto load or change during a print.

via the pc app i can load and swap colours / materials but once it starts thats the only filament it will use…. why does it not auto load as required ?

does it show The AMS unit on the printer. if not then it’s a cable issue.

yes it shows the AMS, but fails to use it as designed

running all the latest firmwares and even tried resetting the ID via the printer to no avail
