Guys QQ Slot 1 on 1 AMS isnt working very well, Ive replaced all PTFE tubes and run the rear tubes through brackets so its all nice and free flowing, the other 3 slots 2 3 and 4 all work fine but 1 just seems to struggle. Am i correct to think its probably a replacement first stage feeder that’s needed ??. It takes the filament fine and feeds it so far then moans, but it does look to be struggling. Anything ive missed ?

Could be.
I assume you’ve also looked at the spool itself since you did all the other troubleshooting.
If you’re inclined you could switch a known good feeder from one of the other slots to one. This will confirm that the feeder needs to be replaced or point you into some unknown other direction.
If you’re wanting the easy solution for the feeder you can of course buy one, or if you are mechanically inclined you can buy the feeding funnel and just replace it. I’ve done this and it’s not difficult at all, and you sound more than capable of it.
Other than that, maybe the rollers are worn. Easy enough to diagnose that. Doesn’t sound like it but could be.

I had a problem feeding filament from one slot on my AMS a few months back.
I disassembled the AMS and eventually found a short piece of filament stuck inside the AMS Internal Hub. The AMS Internal Hub is where the four PTFE tubes from the slots merge together into a single PTFE tube leading out to the printer.
I disassembled that part, removed the filament fragment, reassembled and I haven’t had any problems since.

I did think about swapping the feeders I may do that or just get a spare and see if it fixes it
I’ll look at the part where they all meet and see if there is anything in there first though
