Using Bambu filament with Bambu spools and when loading the filament the damn spool will pop out go the AMS because the filament gets to tight. When I load it I have plenty of slack but it soon tightens up and pulls the spool up and out. Any thoughts here. It only happens when I load filament. After it’s loaded and the AMS starts to print objects, it works fine.
Spool off enough slack the filament doesn’t get drawn tight during load. As long as it’s not so loose it comes off the spool when you close the AMS cover, it doesn’t matter how tight or slack it is (and you can always rotate the spool to tighten it up after loading is completed).
There is no requirement to keep the filament taut while feeding in to the AMS.
Solution: don’t do that.

Thanks. I’ll give that a try.
