AMS to AMS pro 2 Upgrade?

It would be great if we could upgrade the AMS to AMS 2 Pro in the area related to multi-material capability—would changing the feeder be enough?

At the momento only shows ams pro2 compatibility.

It will be nice to have a slot modified to use CF filaments

Unlikely.
I assume some people do run CF in the original AMS. But printing multicolor/material CF is a niche use.

The sum of the parts would cost more than the new AMS Pro 2.

You would have to replace practically everything. I say sell the AMS and get the 2 Pro and use around $50 of your own money to make up the difference
