AMS window does not display calibration values

Hi
From time to time in Bambu Studio the AMS window does not display the currently calibrated filaments.
The colors and filament types are correct, but the calibration values are missing.
While the correct filament with the calibration values is displayed under Prepare or Preview,

Filament-Preview

It just looks like this in the AMS window:

Fenster-AMS

What should I do?

Try it, see if it works, if something happen that’s unexpected stop the print. reset and try again. Are you scared?

That’s what I’m doing right now.
But I would still like to have my calibrated filaments back in the AMS window of Bambu Studio.
Just for the better feeling…

You misunderstand, what I’m getting at is if the print works successfully without the polled data being refreshed that means that BS and Orca both have a design flaw and that it should be addressed but in the correct area of this site so it can help others

Two different settings.
In the preview, you choose the filament preset, which includes the flow ratio.
In the device windows, the AMS values relate to the k value, which is stored in the printer/AMS.

If they are not displayed, they are not set. Press the filament colour and select your present (i.e., k value in printer memory).

For example, here, I only have the flow ratio and other settings related to your filament that will needed to slice the model.

Here, I have the k value for the different filaments. All are defined except the blue ASA ( I removed for the example):

I can choose from my stored calibration data the right preset:

In Bambu-Studio I cannot make a selection in either the filament field or the PA Profile field.

Filament-Dropdown

I also can’t write in the factor K field.

However, I recently reset the printer to factory settings.

Does this mean that the calibration values are lost?
Are they saved in the printer only?

When I click on “Synchronize filament list from AMS” in Bambu Studio, it only goes in one direction, from AMS to Bambu Studio.

Is there still a way to get the calibrated filaments back into the printer or do I have to recalibrate?

Yes. Every value stored within the printer was deleted with a factory reset.
And Yes. They are stored in the printer only.

Do you have the value stored elsewhere?
If so, there is a workaround that allows you to add values one by one; otherwise, you need to recalibrate.

I already thought something like that.
Unfortunately, I didn’t save the values elsewhere.
But I have now changed that: from now on I enter the values in a calibration table.
I have now also recalibrated the filaments in the AMS.

Even if it’s not the solution I wanted, I consider your answer as a solution.
Thank you for your effort.
Frank

I do the same. Have a spreadsheet with filament calibration settings, just in case.
