AMS2 not working

Hi all, I am using an X1C printer with two AMS and one AMS2. Had a problem with stuck filament. Traced to AMS2 internal hub and removed. Reassembled it and have had problems ever since.

Basically the filament starts to feed, then the feeder unit triple or double clicks with a pause every few seconds while the filament feeds. When it gets to the toolhead it stops, rolls the filament back to the start and then stops. This happens with all four feeders. I have a video:

I have started a ticket with Bambu and they’re being helpful but have so far not come up with a solution. They insist it is a stuck filament issue but I have traced all the relevant tubes and they come clean. I think it’s a hardware issue, possibly the AMS2 internal hub, but I am reluctant to buy one as the machine is still under warranty.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Did you able to load filament via the other AMS-es?

Yes, the other AMSs are working normally.

I think in this case you can be very sure the issue is not in the buffer PTFEs and the extruders clogs and stuck. But is clearly a AMS problem.

I you try to put the filament bay hand from any of the slots on the bad AMS, did you able to get it out without feeling too much resistance?

Yep, resistance is normal after waiting for the AMS2 to stop.
