AMS2Pro + P1s = No Drying Function?

Just got my first AMS2 Pro to go with my P1s, and have the switching power adapter (plugged in and ON).

Everything got recognized immediately, and the firmware on the AMS was updated without issue.

P1s Firmware is 01.10.00.00

AMS 2 Pro Firmware is 03.00.21.29

However, BambuStudio doesn’t seem to be giving me the option to turn on the drying function.

Is there some sort of specific state I need to have my system in, in order to enable the drying function?

You are able to use the drying function from the P1S screen.

Ah, I guess I’ll go check that then.

I was under the impression that this would be doable from BambuStudio.

Maybe that feature is Coming Soon[1]

Whelp, yep, it seems I can turn the drying function on/off on the P1s screen, but not in BambuStudio or the Handy app on iOS.

Thats… frustrating… but at least it is manageable.

I’m mark your answer as the solution, and hope that BL brings the Studio/Handy control to the P1s + AMS2 combo.

2 things:

1 - the incorrect post was marked as the solution, I would recommend changing that to WN1X’s response. :slight_smile:
2 - I highly doubt this function will be added to the slicer software, but it is wishful thinking I will admit.

Thanks for pointing out #1. You are correct, I fixed it!

Also very aware that this is wishful thinking on my part, but one can hope. Atleast, if it doesn’t happen, there’s so many other viable options for my next 3d printer out there now.
