This sounds like standard procurement speak for oops, we ran out of product and we need to have something for our front line workers to say.
I received an accessory the next business day after ordering but not the printer order has been sitting there for 11 days awaiting courier pickup. How long does it take to pick the order, slap a label on and hand off to the courier?
After this much time you should at least be able to estimate how long it would take to clear the backlog based on orders shipped per day which would allow for more transparent communication with customers. Stop apologizing and post something meaningfulā¦
What a miserable experience. 3+ weeks already waiting on an order. 2+ weeks on the other order. I have been lied to multiple times:
1st lie - Website said it was in stock and shipping in 1 - 3 days, and up until a few days ago it still said this. This is why I placed the order in the first place.
2nd lie - Reached out to support, they said it would ship in less than 7 days, itās been well past that. They stopped responding to the ticket.
3rd lie - I can cancel my order my cutting a ticket. I have tried updating my ticket, cutting a new ticket, and waiting over an hour on live chat and never getting through the queue. I am simply unable to cancel my orders.
Why canāt we, in the year 2024 (almost 2025), cancel an order via the website? I can do this via every since e-commerce platform I have ever used. Bambu makes it impossible and they are creating unnecessary work for themselves.
Also, why state on the website that orders that have been placed over 2 hours ago are not eligible for cancellation and that the only way to cancel them is to wait for them to ship, refuse the order, and then pay Bambu for the cost of the return shipping? When I am trying desperately to cancel these orders, updating ticket, finding the live chat, waiting for live chat, and sending an email, reading that I have to refuse the shipment and then pay for return shipping hits like extortion.
If it has been within two hours since you placed the order, you can cancel it by going to the āMy Accountā section. Once an order is confirmed, we cannot make any changes to it. If you still want to cancel, you have the option to refuse the delivery. Please note that in the case of a non-defective return, you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping fees.
I will say i ordered a printer early in November and got it the same week, but i ordered filament on November 23 and there has been no movement at all, it has not shipped. Iām going to buy filament elsewhere. Good printer but bad taste in my mouth giving them more money the way the business is run, looks too much like fraud.
I know my black Friday order will take longer. But my order i placed two weeks before black Friday just finally showed up and it was just normal filaments. Some pla and petg-hf. Nothing special and it took over a month to arrive. Never experienced slowness like this.
But you guys make an amazing product and so glad I pulled the trigger and got my P1S. Them thng is amazing! I had an old anycubic Mega X and quality was a pain to dial in and slow. This thing made me realize fdm printers are a good solution after using only resin printers for the last few years.
I am really disappointed. I ordered an A1 printer back in November 29th and some filament. The filament comes from Germany I think and it is supposed to be received today (Spain). However, no info on the printer (I ordered the 29th in the morning and they created a label at 19:10 local time), since then, the shipping info has been stuck at āGoods issue at senderā. Two tickets aferwards and not a solution. I see that thereās people that have received their printers and not the filament. I cannot print without a printer. Not to mention that my filament hasnāt arrived yet either⦠If I knew, I would have bought through another store. Now I cannot get my money back and I donāt know when I will have my printer (if I even receive it anytime).
I have tryed to Cancel my Order how Bambu has written it. But the Answer was: No, we cant Cancel your order because its in Progress. Thanks for nothing. I Hope i get the A1 before Christmasā¦
this is pretty ridiculous statement, as soon as you hit checkout, it already starts to be in progress, and creates a tracking number that is pretty much only a placeholder⦠so the option provided above by @SupportAssistant is purposely false, as they are not honouring it
this is a very poor way to treat your customers @BambuLab
Same here (Italy). The situation is the same for everyone it seems. Maybe the lucky ones who received the printer are not complaining on this thread and are already wrapping their Christmas gift for the family (as I would have wanted too), but so far nobody here wrote a hurray to inform everybody that their order has been actually sent.
Bambulab keeps telling they are working hard, so I expect someone here to be impacted by all this hard work. But no.
They just told me on the live chat, that the orders should START to ship form the 20th. What a fucking joke. I donāt want anything from these scammers anymore, but canāt cancel my order, when i refuse the package they will charge me for shipping both ways. What a fucking scamming terrible company. I will NEVER buy anything from them, and will spread the word. How can i not cancel my order? This is just scamming.
Got this as a response as well. To be honest, now I almost hope they are late cause I will not be home over Christmas to receive it, and apparently will be resent then and charge me a fee⦠Feels like a real scam at this moment I agree.
āThe current varying lengths of the withdrawal periods both between the Member States and for distance and off-premises contracts cause legal uncertainty and compliance costs. The same withdrawal period should apply to all distance and off-premises contracts. In the case of service contracts, the withdrawal period should expire after 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. In the case of sales contracts, the withdrawal period should expire after 14 days from the day on which the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods. In addition the consumer should be able to exercise the right to withdraw before acquiring physical possession of the goods. Where multiple goods are ordered by the consumer in one order but are delivered separately, the withdrawal period should expire after 14 days from the day on which the consumer acquires physical possession of the last good. Where goods are delivered in multiple lots or pieces, the withdrawal period should expire after 14 days from the day on which the consumer acquires the physical possession of the last lot or piece.ā
Article 9 Right of withdrawal
Save where the exceptions provided for in Article 16 apply, the consumer shall have a period of 14 days to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract, without giving any reason, and without incurring any costs other than those provided for in Article 13(2) and Article 14.
2. Without prejudice to Article 10, the withdrawal period referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall expire after 14 days from:
(a) in the case of service contracts, the day of the conclusion of the contract;
(b) in the case of sales contracts, the day on which the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer acquires physical possession of the goods or:
(i) in the case of multiple goods ordered by the consumer in one order and delivered separately, the day on which the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer acquires physical possession of the last good;
(ii) in the case of delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces, the day on which the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece;
Article 11 Exercise of the right of withdrawal
Before the expiry of the withdrawal period, the consumer shall inform the trader of his decision to withdraw from the contract. For this purpose, the consumer may either:
(a)
use the model withdrawal form as set out in Annex I(B); or
(b)
make any other unequivocal statement setting out his decision to withdraw from the contract.
Article 13 Obligations of the trader in the event of withdrawal
The trader shall reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including, if applicable, the costs of delivery without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which he is informed of the consumerās decision to withdraw from the contract in accordance with Article 11.
The trader shall carry out the reimbursement referred to in the first subparagraph using the same means of payment as the consumer used for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise and provided that the consumer does not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Article 14 Obligations of the consumer in the event of withdrawal
Unless the trader has offered to collect the goods himself, the consumer shall send back the goods or hand them over to the trader or to a person authorised by the trader to receive the goods, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which he has communicated his decision to withdraw from the contract to the trader in accordance with Article 11. The deadline shall be met if the consumer sends back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
The consumer shall only bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless the trader has agreed to bear them or the trader failed to inform the consumer that the consumer has to bear them.
In the case of off-premises contracts where the goods have been delivered to the consumerās home at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the trader shall at his own expense collect the goods if, by their nature, those goods cannot normally be returned by post.
The consumer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. The consumer shall in any event not be liable for diminished value of the goods where the trader has failed to provide notice of the right of withdrawal in accordance with point (h) of Article 6(1).
Article 18 Delivery
Unless the parties have agreed otherwise on the time of delivery, the trader shall deliver the goods by transferring the physical possession or control of the goods to the consumer without undue delay, but not later than 30 days from the conclusion of the contract.
Where the trader has failed to fulfil his obligation to deliver the goods at the time agreed upon with the consumer or within the time limit set out in paragraph 1, the consumer shall call upon him to make the delivery within an additional period of time appropriate to the circumstances. If the trader fails to deliver the goods within that additional period of time, the consumer shall be entitled to terminate the contract.
The first subparagraph shall not be applicable to sales contracts where the trader has refused to deliver the goods or where delivery within the agreed delivery period is essential taking into account all the circumstances attending the conclusion of the contract or where the consumer informs the trader, prior to the conclusion of the contract, that delivery by or on a specified date is essential. In those cases, if the trader fails to deliver the goods at the time agreed upon with the consumer or within the time limit set out in paragraph 1, the consumer shall be entitled to terminate the contract immediately. 3. Upon termination of the contract, the trader shall, without undue delay, reimburse all sums paid under the contract.
In addition to the termination of the contract in accordance with paragraph 2, the consumer may have recourse to other remedies provided for by national law.
