Having an issue where Bambu Handy wont stay connected to my printer.
Start a print, connect with BH, view printer.
Leave app running for a while (doesnt take long)
Open the app again and it says printer is offline.
I have to force close BH and open it again and it shows printer online again.
Checked for app updates, OS is up to date (android 13 on redmi note 12 pro) and printer firmware updated very recently.
It certainly didnt used to do this so I dunno if maybe its linked to recent printer fw update ?
Same issue here… Not sure what to do.
I have a feeling that it may not be a printer firmware update issue.
Is there any chance it has to do with app permissions? Perhaps set to only allow when the app is in use?
Permissions was the first place I looked - although it was working previously and I haven’t changed them.
On inspection permissions are fine as expected. (Never pause if unused, notifications and location allowed, and no battery saver restrictions)
Same issue with iOS. Constantly have to force close and reopen.
Thought was me, yep constantly offline, connects once then goes to offline mode. Restart app still doing it.
I have seen the same issue. When it happens I press on Models to go to that screen, wait a few seconds and press on Devices. It almost always reconnects at that point.
If you go to the MakerWorld page, then back to the printer page, it will reset it and it should work.
Good workaround - thanks.
But it is a workaround - it shouldn’t be disconnecting surely ?
Same issue here, won’t connect with my phone or my computer at this point. It stalls on downloading and doesn’t do anything. It’s become a useless brick…
I have the same issue suddenly…
Printer connects fine to bambu studio, but just stays offline whatever i do / tried…
