I have seen that 29Flo marks their images with a watermark over the entire surface, that may work well.

I have seen many cases where someone steals photos even with a big watermark, so I think it’s not a problem for a thief.

They do not seem to care if you include embossed designer logos either, they assume the recipients will not notice or care.

9 successful reports! working on about 6 more. Some smaller ones I have difficulty finding the source material :frowning:

I just found another one that for sure has taken models from MakerWorld.
@Foxwood definitely has one of their KUMIKO controller sleeves models on her page.
Maybe some of you guys recognize their own work on this page. I do not wish to ‘hate’ on users that make honest mistakes and might not be informed on SDFL but I cannot stand for legit work just being stolen and copied for personal gain.

Most of her images are mirrored to avoid the quick finds but a simple search with google lens already show +5 models taken from MakerWorld.

Unfortunately my report got rejected ! No idea how MakerOnline came to that conclusion I also sent them a link to my model. @MakerWorld what are the next steps as this is part of the exclusive program also?

You can submit a ticket for that and select the issue type as [Copyright Support for Exclusive Model].

I know this one… Reported a lot of familiar models a few days ago but they haven’t removed them yet (which is strange because they usually did it quickly).

what do you all think about giving away your personal details and address? I’m not sure if that will be send over to the copyright violator or the platform they are posting the model onto, who knows who will see it

Three notes:

  • Your link doesn’t work.
  • If the models are part of the Exclusive Program, the first step would be to report this to MakerWorld.
  • Your profile on MakerWorld can’t be opened - to be precise, @LemmyDruckt is completely gone. I wanted to check it to verify.

Maybe you could provide a little more detailed information than just posting the username… just a thought…
