I have read about the advantages of keeping filament in a dryer while printing to ensure the filament remains dry.
I was curious to hear from people that are making a print without AMS, do you keep it in a heated dryer while printing?
Also, are their any downsides people are aware of?
Only added drag. Otherwise, its suggested when possible.
Ultimately, the dryer your filament is, the better prints you’ll get overall. To note, you don’t need to keep the dry on though re: “heated dryer” once it’s dry, you should be good for some time, it’s not something to run constantly if it’s the same roll you’ve had in there.
