Hi all,
On the Bambu Lab store, they have carbon fibre plates, but only for small printers.
Can anyone recommend a good 3rd party carbon fibre plate for H2C (after using it)?
I found a few offers on Ali…, but those are oversized (335x325mm offered plate vs 330x320mm real H2C plate size). I found a few offers on Amzn, but they are also oversized and of poor quality.

Hi Adam,
Do you mean for a CF surface effect on the print, or for the actual material properties?
For the latter, there’s the DarkMoon3D CFX plate which is high quality CF (I own the “Duo” with Satin on back). It does not leave any noticeable effect on the print (just a very smooth surface). But I don’t know what shipping would be like over to your part of the world, perhaps impractical.

@MaxThreeD I don’t know what’s different with your plate, but this is the texture I get with my Darkmoon X1C plate when printing PETG-HF:
@vulterey it might be worth digging into this further, see what other people are experiencing.
@MaxThreeD no shade on you at all…I don’t know why their site says no transfer occurs, it clearly does for me. I don’t know what the point of a carbon fiber plate even would be if not to transfer a texture - a carbon plate that doesn’t transfer a pattern is functionally no different than a G10 plate.

I’ve got an H2C plate on order as well (they’re running a sale) and will report back with my findings.
I have had good luck with Jupine plates from Ali Express.
Interesting! I haven’t tried any PETG on it at all, just ASA, PC, PAHT-CF and some PEBA Air (for no particular reason). The bottoms looked smooth… maybe a tiny hint of a pattern on the ASA if the light hit it right. The PC was translucent and not sure I’d see anything on it even if there was a pattern. The PEBA samples I’m looking at now (no hint of pattern), but the other pieces are in use and can’t be checked. I’ll have to try some other materials on it!
The product page does say with some red capitals that it’s not an “effects” plate… above the part you quoted… 
But if that’s a side benefit in some cases, I’m cool with it! Yea I got it mostly for smooth-bottom high-temp materials w/out glue (and my ordered Glacier was MIA at the time as well, with no firm ship date).

I had to read that a couple times, I think the intent was to say “this isn’t a sticker, it’s real carbon fiber”, but it definitely makes it sound like it doesn’t produce a texture effect at all.
I have looked at them as well, but in the description it clearly says that the size is 335 x 325 mm, whilst H2C plates are supposed to be 330 x 320 mm. How did you manage not to get a warning about a foreign object on the build plate?

Oh, dang, for some reason my mind blanked on the H part when browsing new topics, and was just looking at the 2 .
I was unaware they had weird sizes for the H series, so disregard anything I mentioned.
That said, even on the smaller machines I get a “foreign object” warning when using the patterned plates from what I assume is the patterns themselves.
