There’s a version with breakaway support that’s built into the file, have you tried that one? It’s a much-improved remix of the file you’re trying to print.
I just printed the dino clip. It’s quite nice, and the break-away support does work well. It took around 1h12m to print, though if you do it with 3 colors, that takes over 6 hours.
Easy print, no supports, no print-in-place clearances to worry about. Small size, good spring tension, a choice of jaws, best printed with PETG. PLA is not flexible or springy enough to make a good clip.
But my favorite clip is cut from the pants hangers used by some stores. You know, the ones that slip and drop the pants to the floor when you touch them? The steel spring is plenty strong enough for a chip bag.
