I have an P1S with AMS and different PLA Filaments loaded.
I use the color function in Bambu Studio to paint the models but after slicing the different color is gone and i have no idea, what happened.
Any Idea how to avoid this?
You might’ve forgot to turn on multi color printing or the wipe tower.
If this is still a problem, please supply a screenshot that includes the objects view (so we can see different objects have different colours or have been painted).
Also make sure we can see the top of the slicing information panel. It is possible you are not seeing the filament view and instead seeing one of the many other views designed to help you preview the model. You can change this by selecting the drop down at the top of the window with the filament use breakdown, set it to filament.
Hey guys -
I struggled with this on my P1S and a random model until I read a random comment on reddit about similar issue.
To make the Slice recognise the colours you must uncheck the Flush into this object
Not sure why this happens, I guess trying to saving on fillament waste is a balaning act.
happy printings.
this just happened to me. Everything worked fine, went to slice and it wouldn’t use ams colors. PlasticLabsCreative was spot on. unclicked flush into object and now slices with ams again. apparently my bambu A1 doesn’t like to poop in it’s own house. will have to bring in a different model to flush into.
The idea of flush into object is to send the waste that otherwise of been wasted into a different model not the main one.
bud i cant thank you enough this was driving me crazy i thought something was wrong that last update switch my views and it looked like nothing was staying colored…
You are welcome.
It is one of those “can’t see the wood for the trees” issues.
There are so many things, so many ways, so many to remember, so easy to forget, and I still do.
So i have followed all steps listed above and am still running into this issue. Any next steps?
