Have had this issue off and on especially the when printing 2 colors light and dark (ie black on pink)

Do manual flow and temperature calibrations, make sure your filament is fully dried…

You probably have one or more of the three most common reasons affecting your print.
These are shown in the statistical order of likelihood.
Change the filament sequence to control which colours are printed before the others. Press the cog button on the build-plate and make changes to the First layer and subsequent layers (as required).
The best way to control the output is to order the lightest colours first in the sequence to the darkest.
In your case, pink should be before black. Drag the swatches to move them around.
Run a lint-free cloth over the build-plate to remove anything that was there from the last print. You may need to clean the build-plate with warm water and dish soap, rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
Check if your hot end has remnants from previous prints. You may need to brush melted particles off the hot end with a wire brush. Be careful, do not damage the heat-cock (rubber part) or any electronics.
