Anybody else have a failing chamber fan?

This morning my chamber fan started making the same “grinding” noise as the mother board fan, and just like the early stages of the motherboard fan, light percussive maintenance (smack the side of the printer) got it to quiet down.

Anybody else?

Maybe reducing the fan speed would would improve things.
I typically run the 1XC chamber fan at 50%.

The fans are bad, they are not supposed to “grind”.
Lowering speed is not a permanent solution. Get new ones under warranty. Record a video with sound (off course) and contact support. You are far from the first with this issue.

Yep, mine failed (grinding noise and not spinning up)after two weeks, two weeks ago.
Got told by the support I’m the first. Got a voucher for a new chamber fan and replaced it.

That is unfortunate. I was hoping that this was not another common failure.

By how few messages are in this thread, I’m guessing it’s not too common an occurance, but I just noticed my chamber fan is not starting up today.

When I attempt to manually turn it on, I hear a very quiet noise like it’s trying to start ever 4-5 seconds. Guess I’ll have to open a ticket to get the fan replaced.
