Anybody else have less things to remove than shown in unpacking video?

[Unpacking video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEBqINl_i7A&t=241s ]

Things that weren’t there to remove, in order of worrisomeness:

  • Orange tag on back of printer
    image

No tag, and there doesn’t seem to be anything inside the hole for an inch or two

  • Several pieces of the green tape in various locations

  • Clear plastic covering the right side window

So did Bambu change things, accidentally leave things out, or is this a retuirned unit ( though everything looks new and untouced)?

Ran calibration, continued setup, was notified of f/w update, doing that now…

I didn’t have any of those things, and none were shown in the printed quick start guide. I also only had three zip ties to cut to free the toolhead rather than four.

I’m 99.9% sure that’s a screw that holds the air pump secure for shipping. Mine didn’t have it either, my printer is just the combo printer, no laser.

Unboxing Guide for the H2D wiki.. See step 25.

This is only for printers with laser module, it is the transport protection screw connection for the air pump

Can confirm that this air pump screw was there in the 40W Laser version. The problem is, because of the awkward design, when I loosened the screw enough, it just fell off of the 2 mm allen key, and dropped down, inside of the printer. So… That’s where that screw lives now. Anybody know if that will be a problem in the future?

That’s a relief, thanks everyone.

I have the H2D Combo and I too was concerned that this screw was still inplace as I too had no red marker as per pic.
I followed the video which implied it had to come out !
I figured it would not be there after reading through the wikki.
No plastic on my sides and only three cable ties.
The one securing the gantry was missing.
Delivered by XPD by one man (Not two as per all paper work)
Boot marks over top of box but QDOS to BL it survived…
On a different subject, H2D is afraid of the dark…
If doing an overnight build leave the printer lamp on else the AI gets its knickers in a twist and thinks head is clogged.
Great machine
