Nope. To damn expensive, when there are other alternatives, doing the same thing and 2/3 less costly.
They come with a full size meanwell psu and custom fit housing for bambu?
yup. found more than a couple of these on Aliexpress and on etsy, for an average between 40 to 80 euros (roughly 45 to 85 USD), plus a few models that one can DIY on Printables. And a few shared on reddit.

Ahh. Yeah I looked at some of those. You can always find a crappier version of something for less money. Im all about “you get what you pay for and usually less”. Im not out here buying christmas gifts at the dollar store. Ive never even ordered from aliexpress
That last one seems to heat from above so I dunno
I haven’t said i bought one from there either. Actually, though if provided with the right incentive, I might be tempted to make a purchase or two, I’m nevertheless wary of any Amazon like copy-cat Chinese platforms…That’s why when searching for chamber heater, the results pointed towards Aliexpress…but i rather keep my distance…
I use exactly this heater to heat my P1S chamber. I’ve installed a Tuya zigbee temperature and humidity sensor inside the printer to monitor the temperature.
I’m opening the door, turn-on the heater at the same position of this guy, turn on the bed heater and the hotend to 180, and print with a small opening at the door because of the wire.
My original plan was to design another case to the components of this heater, route add a tuya switch inside and use it to turn on the relay, and the tuya temp sensor to turn it on and off to keep temperature, but didn’t have time to do that yet.
I ordered this. Takes a while to ship. I think they are made after the order. Ill update when it shows up
How does this work with bambu studio, I am guessing not? Why cobble this fire starting heater into an expensive printer?
Where are you getting this from? Do you have any evidence of any of these catching fire? I don’t think so. The reason for putting something like this in an expensive printer like an X1C is to heat the chamber for printing materials like ABS that require a stable temperature.
I actually ended up not using it because I didnt want to risk it. But, in the grand scheme of things, this isnt an expensive printer and that heater is actually really high quality for a stand alone chamber heater. Ha, my house burning down wouldnt be so cheap though
Just wanted to respond to this post that I bought one of these from this seller on November 30th 2024 and never received it. The seller kept gaslighting me about delays promising new shipping dates which came and went. Just today on March 5th 2025 I said the hell with this bullshit and got Etsy involved which gave me an immediate refund.
I ordered mine November 30th. Never got it. Seller is a lying piece of garbage. Kept lying about shipping dates and added a tracking number to Etsy marking it shipped on January 30th and it never updated because he never shipped it. Kept saying all these excuses over message about having issues with sourcing and family and all this other nonsense but he never stopped new orders. Be wary.
Chiming in here with my experience - Ordered Jan 15 - assuming it would take a long time to get here.
It took a few more weeks than expected and I got scared a bit by the comment here about the heater never shipping (that I found doing more research on the topic). Also once I contacted Matthew he explained he was dealing w family issues and my item would ship soon. When shipping label was created, it still took another week to show the package to show as received by USPS but eventually it made its way to me.
It does seem like he was dealing with family issues: in the course of a week, he posted detailed videos on youtube about assembling the kit, and this is when my unit also shipped out.
As for a review of the actual heater:
I am relatively new to 3D printing and purchased this because I wanted to print ASA and ABS and I installed a venting/filtration system for particulates and fumes… but was afraid of printing issue due to the filter system pulling air from the chamber and lowering the temps, increasing chances of warping and maybe other issues.
I have received and installed the chamber heater last week, and it looks really good. Almost OEM-like as shown in the pictures. The heater housing is black with fuzzy skin, looks much better than in the product pictures here.
Instructions for install were good, excepted I could have used a picture for the best spot to drill a hole for the wiring. Also, 1/2" is nowhere large enough to pass the connector through - I used at least 5/8". I also include below a picture with a yellow dot showing where I chose to drill on my P1S. I do not think this is exactly where Matthew was hinting at, but it allowed to pass the wiring without the wires going behind the housing inside the printer: I was afraid it would prevent the housing from snapping in place snug to the wall due to the thickness.
Only did one 4.5h print with ASA so far, and with the AC INFINITY T4 Pro inline fan sucking air from the chamber at level 4 (I also tried level 5) the heater had no issues maintaining the chamber temp at or above 50 deg C, and it was cycling ON and OFF (not running continuously).
I’ve posted a graph of the temperature reading during this print, from the AC Infinity controller with a Temp sensor located near the top right side of the chamber above the rail. I only had the heater set to ~48 or 48.5 deg (wanted to be conservative to start).
So far real happy with it
Thought I would share my experience if someone else is considering this one.
