They’re an Australian Filament maker based in Sydney, and seem to have a decent range of colours and filament types.
so I’m just wondering if any of my fellow Aussies have ever used their filament before this https://fortisfilaments.com.au is there site.
i did search this forum but didn’t find any topics talking about them.

Nope, so far I only used Siddament.
No issues with quality, stock or colours.
But will check yours next time I need filament and might do a comparison.
That’s because Fortisfilaments is a brand new company set up to bring quality filaments at affordable prices and unparraleled customer service.
Just call the store’s number and have a candid chat with the owner.

Sounds like you work for their sales. Any discount codes?
I’m the owner, just trying to spread the word. 10for10

Good Job - just put in an order. Would have gotten some more but a lot of what I want is out of stock - Clear PLA, Olive PLA, etc. Let’s see how it goes. My only issue is the postage cost, but see that the lower unit price can offset this on bulk purchases.
Sweet! 2166 is about 15 minutes drive for me. Price is quite competitive as well.
I welcome Australian made. I’ve used the Australian (Victoria) filament manufacturer Aurarum’s filaments with good results.
There is a difference from claims of Australian owned and Australian made. I reached out to Fortis and asked them whether any of their filaments are manufactured in Australia. They promptly responded and confirmed that all their filaments are manufactured in China.
At least they responded …
Siddament also sells chinese filaments. The same for InkStation or alike, but a bit higher price. I don’t mind the origin of filament as long as it is consistent between roll to roll (batch to batch) and easy to print.

As far as I know, Australia doesn’t have industry of making plastic, like all the plastic things on the shelf of kmart, bigw… are from China. Even the steel we made are not making any profit so that we export the ore but import the steel. The labour cost is too high to make any industry viable actually.
Heck, I even don’t understand why the same UL91 from Speedway costs 1.60 while from Ampol costs 2.10, like is there any magic addictive to the petrol or just pure brand name?
I’ve used them and they are excellent quality, perfect prints everytime and super easy to order. Highly recommend
