H2D itself is about 626mm height.
If you put AMS PRO2 on top and open it to switch filament, how much space do I need for setup?
With the AMS Pro lid open mine is 1010mm high
oh my goodness. So it is about 400mm height for just AMS PRO2 If you have to open it
Is it possible to put two AMS onto the H2D? One on the front and one on the back
side?
Is one solution if you need them on top of the machine.
yes the AMS Pro is 225mm high closed, but the lid opens quite tall, same as the older AMS
I want to also add a AMS HT next to the top AMS! So I will have 2 AMS’s and on AMS HT on top of the H2D.
That’s what I’m gonna do here, the top shelf is the same with the H2D so it should all fit… ![]()
Ideally the H2D is set low so that you can look down through the top. There’s a lot more room to view from the top than the smaller machines with the AMS on top. Also the lighting is good.
Good question if you have severe limited space constraints.
The problem is the need to open the top if you are changing configurations or when you need to do the direct feed into the extruder for non-AMS materials you will need the top glass off and put aside.
