Anyone else have weird errors for bay 3 ONLY of the AMS?

So I have 2 AMS units. Both work well with the exception of the 3rd bay. Yes both have this weird filament stuck error, but only in that particular bay. I’ve put in there PLA, PLA+, PETG, ASA, and ABS. Doesn’t matter what type, it has that error. Anyone else?

Take it apart and check the PTFE path for a broken piece of filament

Did that. Nothing in there. This has happened to both AMS. Weird, right? I’m about to open up 2 more X1Cs to see if it’s a recurring issue with the other 2.

I have felt in the past that many of the “I’m having x trouble with my AMS” have involved #3. I’ve no idea if it’s actually true nor why it tends to be #3 over the others. Maybe the tube is routed differently? Maybe one of the signal wires runs too close to a power wire and there is some sort of interference?
You could try swapping the #3 first stage feeder with a different one to see if the problem follows or investigate the tubing routing.

Yes! Repeated issues on unloading from slot 3… swap filament between slots, the issue stays with slot 3.
Going to be ordering another AMS when the $50 discount appears so it will be interesting to see if the same issue exists on that one.

I have the same problem here.
maybe a software bug?
