After a ton of teething issues at the start of the year I’m so pleased with how well the software and firmware have developed and I feel we’re finally at a point where this thing will literally deal with anything! But one thing I noticed it’s still not great at is when the 3D model is small with intricate details. I think much of this is down to the sheer speed the printer aims to complete the job in.
I understand we can manually adjust travel speeds etc but I was thinking it’d be a good idea to have an intricate setting in the presets which would slow the printer down and produce a more deliberate result.
You don’t really need to adjust anything. Flow rate limits for the 0.2mm are much smaller compared to the 0.4mm presets, so it will slow down when needed.
One trick you can use - set layer width to 0.3mm. It usually works just fine and looks great especially for first layer (but it doesn’t always like to stick to the bed, so check the first layer quality before it gets higher).
