Anyone encounter this?

First few layers are good, then the rest i don’t know what happen.
3rd picture just printed today, lower part is fined but upper part doesn’t seem to stick to lower part. Wish I could attached a video time-lapse here.

Looks like it might not be extruding hot enough. What are your settings?

  • Lots of stringing => Probably moisture in the filament => needs drying
  • Warping and fracture => Low interlayer adhesion, too high a layer height, too fast, too much cooling, chamber temp too low (unless drying resolves these issues already)
  • Many defects in infill => use non-crossing infill (gyroid, honeycomb) at lower flow/speed (Do not use Studio’s “Combine infill”. It only works properly in Orca.)

What material are you printing?

I got somewhat similar problem today. I had one month without printing and updated firmware today and even downgraded after trying to debug what the problem is but prints ended up like this every time even with different filament. I don’t know why I can’t embed a photo though.

And without drying?

Yes. But I have had longer periods on some filaments without use and no problems at all, now it does this on all filaments. It only does it when it starts to print faster. First layer is really good always. But now drying one filament to see if there is a difference.

this are the settings i use, i made a few parts printed fine and then it goes like that

I’m using PLA. I’ll try to dry out the filament first.
Thank you.

Actually I’m printing fine from the previous day before that happens. I’m suspecting the filament is the culprit because the one I used on that is new.

Please update if it works. Cheers!

But for me, I’m printing continuously before that happens.

Downloaded older version of Bambu Studios, I think and I think at first it did not work, had already downgraded firmware also. Then I did the Flow dynamics calibration automatically but it failed so I did not input anything from the results. Somehow it anyways started to work again after that and now prints with the same exact filament are perfect

I’m trying to downgrade too. Let’s see if it will solve my problem
