Anyone have a reliable solution to purging filament?

My printer is on a narrow desk and I need to purge the filament out the side. I’ve printed 3 different solutions with the last one just being a ramp to divert it straight to the trash can. Here’s the model https://www.printables.com/model/552500-screw-on-poop-chute-with-bin-bambulab-p1s-p1p
However, filament still gets backed up and kills the print. If anyone knows a good solution that would really be appreciated.

Remove all gadgets and use the printer as it came from the box. Yes, if there is no room to put a container there then you need to collect the poops from the back of the table now and then.

In restricted areas I let the waste just pile up on the shelf behind and scoop out by hand every now and again, otherwise I use a fairly low 3.5l rectangular container - so there is plenty of space for the waste to spread out and build up.

Link UK I know - but it will give an idea of the boxes I use

Another solution is to eliminate the waste by using flush-into objects - using this method you just get tiny wisps that don’t take up much space.

I have never tried any of the shoots or containers and rarely have a problem with multi day up to 11 colour prints.

When waste does get a bit stuck I use a length of PTFE tube to clear the blockage from below, PTFE tube also works quite well for clearing the odd stay filament spirals on the bed.

Where is the bottom of the jam? That is the area that need to be changed. With that chute, the poop looses all it’s momentum to the rear and has turn with zero momentum to the side. The wall over the long slope is also a potential restriction that could keep a long poop from falling down the slope. If so, you can cut that wall out, or reprint after removing the wall from the model.

This is not rocket science, it is just a container for trash collection. I use the rectangular bottom of a juice bottle because it is clear and I can see when it needs emptying. A cereal box would work as well.
