Anyone know why I cant slice?

Hi all! I printed a cool fidget that came in in a pair but when I tried to clone, it wont let me slice.

Here are the images from the slicer.

Not sure what the issue is with the height, when it is just one of each on the plate it is no problem.

Any suggestions would be great!.

Actually just did autoarrange, and it moved them to 2 on a plate instead of 4. But cant figure out why I cant do 4 on a plate? There certainly is room.

Those red warning boxes tell you the problems.

You have chosen to print by object, this means the first object is printed before the next one and so on.

This is only possible for smaller objects or the print head will collide with the already printed models.

Turn off print by object.

Use the cog on the build plate, look for print by object in the list of choices and change it to print by layer.

They will all now print at the same time, no risk of collisions.

As you are trying to print two different colour objects, keep one colour on o e build plate and the second colour on another build plate.

As you are editing someone else’s playlist, it is very likely they had each object on the same build plate, it would have printed one model in one colour and then moved on to the second object in the second colour.

They wouldn’t have been able to do that with more than two objects on the same build plate as the whole print head would need to avoid all other objects when it starts on object three and again on object four.

Thankyou so much!

Yes on the original design it had both on the same plate… And I can see if I do print by object then it will be an issue.

So I did change the print sequence to ‘by layer’ and that is all well now.

Thanks again.
