Anyone noticed this weird AMS Lite bug?

I am using an adapter that allows me to have all four PTFE tubes in but at the same time also a PTFE tube for the external spool. Call it a 4in1+1 …
Anyway, what IS annoying is that when the spool belonging to the PTFE tube next to the adapter is in use, the filament is just about close enough so the external roll can’t be loaded, so you have to pull it back ever so slightly.
Not a big deal, but then I used a few different spools on the external one and pretty much loaded / unloaded a dozen or so times.
What I noticed is, that every time you load / unload, it ‘checks’ the filament position in the AMS Lite. In that process, it pulls the filament back every so slightly.
I thought great, I can do that a few times so I don’t need to pull back the filament myself. BUT - if you do it often enough, it actually ends up so far back that it comes out of the first stage feeder.
Only just now I had one filament coming loose and only time will tell if that is tangled now.
Anyone seen that ?

What do you mean it comes out of the first stage feeder?

I am pretty sure it’s not a bug, that is how it is suppose to work

Sound like normal behaviour, It check the filament by pulling it back rather than pushing it in, because if it pulls back and the printer doesn’t have a filament detected, then it’s not in the printer, if it does pull back, and detects a filament in the printer, then the AMS is loaded unless an external spool was.
If it was about pushing it in, then it could break the filament leading to a bigger headache
