AP Board Replacement

I lost all power to my X1C except the power light was illuminated. Followed the troubleshooter and determined it was either the AP Board or the AP-MC cables. Ordered new AP Board and AP-MC Cables (Bambu refunded my purchase). Installed both the AP Board and AP-MC Cables. Forced me to start from scratch, pick language, region, etc… Then when it pops up the QR Code, it stops and won’t show a QR Code, gave option to skip login. So I skipped. Had to do a calibration, which it passed. Did a self test, which it passed. Cannot connect to the printer because its not logged in. Read in a post that you have to send Bambu the S/N of the the AP Board so they can register it to the account, is this true? Also, shows no firmware. Won’t let me update firmware.

Yes, support will have to activate the new AP board.

Step 13 of replacing the AP board in the Wiki.

We also have an application link in the Support page to provide the details for the activation.

It is available here

Thank you. I feel like such an idiot not continuing on with the instructions (such a dude dad move). I have submitted the “Proper” SN, just waiting activation confirmation now.

THANK YOU!

Failed to follow-up on this. Support activated new AP board and she’s been printing 24/7 since.

Thanks for all the help.
