Apparently Canada Post has destroyed my Bambu order

Canada post recently went on strike and today my tracking updates to this.

Tracking location is set to “FISH, FISH” and the pin is dropped onto a small lake.

I seriously wish you the best of luck. Bambu seems to have trouble sorting out any thing that is out of the ordinary and I would definitely describe this as out of the ordinary.

Lets hope bambu products are water protected

As a last resort, you could try and drive over to the pin, with a fishing pole and a bambu logo print as bait and try to fish it out of the water :face_with_monocle:

The driver might be on strike…fishing, taking the delivery van along…
They do say, however, that your delivery may be delayed due to labour disruption and their delivery driver being out fishing does fall under labour disruption argument.

Nevertheless, if you don’t receive your package sometime next week, you should rise a ticket with Bambu, letting them know that unless they deliver, you’re going to file a claim back with your bank

Once it does arrive, make sure to dry the filament thoroughly :joy:

And make sure there’s no fish left in between the filament strips.

At least you will know how wet the filament is to start with all those scales.

Fish, fish, so good they named it twice.

I’m just here for the bad fish puns. :fish:

Why did the 3D printer filament feel like it was in a mob movie?
Because Canada Post lost it, and now it’s “sleeping with the fishes”!

Why did the 3D printer filament felt like it was on a secret mission with Canada Post?
Because it vanished without a trace and ended up “swimming with the fishes”

already wet and prepped for tuna printing…

Hello,

I once had a Canada Post package appearing in the middle of nowhere. After poking around I did find an airport close by, so I assume CP has a storage spot out there. They were not on strike at the time.
In your case, I indeed found an airport ~12km away from a city near your “fish fish”, so strike aside, I would not worry.

Looks like OP’s printer is up a creek without a paddle

It’s actually four rolls of PETG, two Wireless Charger Kits and ten of the Wind-Up Walking Mechanisms and I’m not too concerned about it. I’ll get it eventually.

It’s the eventually part that raises further questions

Weird, all my Bambu orders have always shipped via FedEx (to central Canada).

Mine had always come by courier too, but a couple months ago everything started coming by Canada Post. I’ve also noticed orders starting to originate in Toronto instead of Richmond, although this order is coming from Richmond.
