Apply user generated filament settings?

Is there a way to apply the user generated filament settings for printing?
As soon as I send the file to the printer via the slicer, I only have the default settings from Bambu Lab to choose from and not the ones I created myself.
Thanks for the help

The printer hardware doesn’t apply the filament settings.
The chosen Filament at the AMS Slot is only for basic material distintion.
Settings are saved in the .3mf and get applied at the slicing process.

The printer just receives g-code from the slicer. All the printer cares about is what slot to use. All the filament settings are already baked into the g-code after the slicing process and the printer does not need to be aware of them.
So if you have different filaments, you have to slice a file for each of them and select the proper file for printing according to the fimanent you want to use.

Thanks for the explanations, so even a rookie like me understands.
