Are any of the Bambu Filament choices appropriate for outdoor use?

In particular, I am looking for long term UV resistance such as I get with ASA.

It may make sense to make UV resistance one of the physical characteristics in the filament data sheets.

Thanks, Chip

I have used ABS many times for printed parts that are mused outside permanently with no problem.

bambu ABS but you can try Polymaker polymax PETG too, i been using it for long time with no problems, bambu have so preset on polylite and polyterra so wont need much tuning maybe none

@jtamarez ,

Unless there is a specific additive ABS is not UV resistance - is this the case with the Bambu ABS? You are correct about PETG, it is a good alternative.

Thank you

I dont know about bambu, i just know because of people says and polymaker about ABS, all of the time i use PETG for that application it just easier to print and no fumes, in my case, polymaker ASA its his best option in that case

for outside use with unpainted material ASA is the best choice, because it´s UV-resistant. If painted an so protected against UV also PETG and ABS are doing the job.
