Are H2D and A1 nozzles the same?

*Bambu High Flow Nozzle is compatible with A1 Series, but it will not improve volumetric speed. In other words, the High Flow Nozzle performs the same as a standard nozzle on the A1 Series.

Seems like the must be mechanically the same. But how can a high-flow nozzle only selectively improve the H2D?

This is limited by how much the extruder can push. It would make sense that the A1 extruder can push less than the H2D.

There was a youtube reviewer that did a good comparison between the these different nozzles. I’m just trying to remember which one it was…

CNC Kitchen did a video a few days ago…they are similar but not exchangeable.

Thanks I’ll look for that video, but how is it the high flow nozzle fits in both then?

Ther‘e mostly the same, but the heatbricks are different, which is why the a1 nozzles fit in the h2d, but the h2d ones not in the a1. (As far as I know)

It’s the other way around, H2D nozzles fit into the A1 but A1 nozzles don’t fit into the H2D.

Yes, your‘re right, I appreciate your correction

Curious if they will standardise on the H2D nozzle design - seems like it’s mostly just the scannable nozzle ID’s on the new version (highflow aside)?
