So worth the effort for 5 points.
Take that back
You can share to a download to get it.
I should attempt the course ![]()
Ah ok, I was not completely sure.
Hi everyone!
Boost Tokens are here to stay. After the update in March 2025, the Boost system has not changed since then — it continues to focus on celebrating ambitious, thoughtfully engineered designs.
Here’s a quick guide on how to earn them (up to 3 per week!):
1. How you Boost matters ![]()
Supporting complex, well-documented models increases your chances of earning more tokens next week. (Tip: Exclusively boosting very simple models may gradually reduce your token rewards).
2. Be an active Maker ![]()
Your print time on MakerWorld models (using Bambu Lab printers), helpful comments, and print profile ratings drive your token rewards.
Quick Facts:
Tokens are for supporting creators; they cannot be bought.
Uploading designs or liking models is great community behavior, but doesn’t strictly guarantee new tokens.
Issued on Mondays. Expire in 28 days. Check your balance: Avatar → Boost Token
Printing a lot but no tokens?
You must start prints directly from MakerWorld (not just local files).
LAN-only, SD-card, and Incognito prints cannot be tracked.
Fair Play Note: Accounts flagged for abuse (like mutual-boosting rings) may face restrictions. If you think this was a mistake, open a support ticket—we’re happy to help!

Happy Printing,

Thank you Makerworld Team for this detiled reply.
My account is not flagged for anything (from what I’ve been told in a support ticket), but I don’t see a token since almost an year.
Opening a ticket solved anything, all you get is the generic answer you just wrote here so… why even telling people to do so, to ■■■■ them off even more? ![]()
They are still working, but are really rare. I didnt got Boost Tokens sind about 1 year.
That’s me! I used to boost models that are useful, well executed, and cleverly solve a problem, that haven’t received many boosts or ratings already. That doesn’t always mean a large and complex model. Now I don’t boost them, because I have not gotten any boost tokens to give away since last year. I’m an active community member (print a lot, rate profiles, add comments, post new models every few weeks), but I think that past “bad behavior” has caused the algorithm to stop giving me boost tokens.
Oh well
I’m just sad I can’t reward people that way anymore. It feels good to give or receive a boost!
@MakerWorld I have to agree here, I just got another cookie-cutter response to a ticket about this. I also have not seen a boost in 6 months.
Now you have to choose between the models you like and are useful for you or the models BL likes.
I made my choice. MY choice.
You must start prints directly from MakerWorld (not just local files).
Ok well i download the files i want to print in order to print them later rather than printing them right there and then
I would agree that this is the case. I am a designer and print my own stuff much more than that from others and get almost no boosts to hand out. However, I have a few models that would fit the definition of being “complex, well-documented models”. Those models tend to get a steady stream of boosts from those who print them, seemingly in proportion to the numbers being printed, and in proportion to the number of 5 star ratings and positive comments.
Spend them all on me. Thanks.
