Arrgh. Have not used X1C for 5 months, have to relearn everything

I have been away from home since June of this year, and now that I am finally home, I can start making the things I need.

But how? [Covid is fun…swiss cheesed my memory center/lot of bad sectors on my HD)

Anybody know of any good YouTube vids for a quick refresher in CAD CAM with Fusion, and Orca Slicer?

Several versions have been updated recently, and some useful features have been added. It is recommended that you learn about it and start a happy printing journey. Thanks

Yeah…I have not done a firmware update on the printer or the AMS since February of 2023. Too many issues with firmware updates and I know that my version was the last “Stable” update they released before they started breaking more than they fixed.

Anyhow, I stumbled through a couple test prints and they survived. I need to remember all the background settings and tweaks in the slicers beyond the advanced options. It’s the “Advanced” advanced stuff, like custom supports, print quality by layer or section…Time to watch more YouTube school.

CAD/CAM is another struggle. Making basic things is one thing, 3D with features is a whole 'nother animal.

Starting to wish I had bought a second one and took it to work with me. Then I could have kept up on it.
