Assign fuzzy skin to a specific color

Will be nice to be able to assign fuzzy skin to as specific color.

That way we will be able to create surface effect exactly where we want by just painting objects.

I agree! If you have already spent the time using the painting tool to assign different colors to your model, why not have a “fill by color” option in the fuzzy skin painting tool that uses the colors you have already painted?

I do this by changing the toggle under “Process” from “Global” to “Objects.” Select the plate your object is on. Click on the object to drop down the list of the object’s parts. Select the colored parts that you want to have fuzzy skin. Go to the “Others” section below and select the type of fuzzy skin you’d like. When you slice the object, you should see the fuzzy skin applied to your selections.

Yes, that works if the print is split into different parts that are separate objects. However, what I’m talking about is one solid object which I take time to paint different colors. For example, an stl of a person wearing a coat. If it’s all one object and I want the person’s skin to have one color and the coat to be a different color and I want the coat to be fuzzy. I have to paint the coat first with the paint tool and then paint it again with the fuzzy tool. If the fuzzy tool had an option to fill based on color, it would solve the problem of having to paint the coat twice with two different tools.
