At 84 Hours, by far my longest and most detailed print yet

To preserve the image / video quality, I decided to upload it as a showcase.

Model is “Fiendish Gateking” by RocketPigGames, printed with Sunlu PLA Meta on a Bambu Lab A1, using my Custom Slicer Settings. Print Time was around 84 hours.

It almost came out perfect. The only blemish is the top half of the blade - For some reason, the Nozzle dragged a bit and caused a displaced Layer. Nothing I couldn’t fix though.

This is practically fresh of the Printer. No Post Processing or Clean Up has been done yet.

Thanks! It took a long time to really optimize my settings, but I think it was more than worth it. Can’t wait to paint this guy.

Looks amazing, mate… Did you use a 0.2 nozzle to do the fine detailing? I would be scared it would fail near the end lol…

Yep, that would be the 0.2 Nozzle.

And trust me, I was Super Anxious during the last 10 Hours, especially after hearing the Nozzle hit the upper half of the Halberd Blade. If the print would have failed after 75 hours with only 9 left, I think I would have screamed.

I think more than scream mate lol…
Not used a 0.2 nozzle yet.plus not got one… got two: 0.4 and hardened 0.6 nozzle…
It does look amazing detail on…good luck with your next one…
