I see a common issue across all social media - people complaining about bed adhesion issues.

The problem, 99% of the time is that the bed has been changed to PEI, but the slicer hasn’t, or the person is trying the sample prints on the printer.

I’ve noticed multiple times that the printer scans the barcodes on the bed. Would it not make sense for the printer to register the bed type, and then automatically load in the correct profile for that bed to alleviate adhesion issues?

Doesn’t have to be fully automated, could be optional, prompt with a warning etc.

The printer already pauses with a warning pop up if the scanned bed type doesn’t match what was set in Studio (through this check can be disabled). The differences are bed temp and, if textured sheet, a bit of extra “squish” for the first layer.
