Auto Brim NEVER adds Brims, normal?

Hey guys, I’m wondering if this is user error, software error, or just normal.

So far I’ve printed probably 100 different designs, 50 or so pre-made from MW and 50 or so of my own designs. I’ve noticed that auto brim is always on, yet BS has never once added a brim to any design. It doesn’t matter how big or small, or what material. I’ve sliced things as small as 5x5x3mm in ASA, and as large as 200x200x70 in PAHT, yet it never adds a brim (and the above examples definitely needed a brim!).

I always have to change it to manual brim. Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere?

Yeah, I find the auto brim very hesitant to add a brim. Only thin tall prints, or low surface area contact with the plate. Just the logic the slicer is using.
