During the last days the “new uploads” section is flooded with hundreds and thousands of mostly old and useless designs. Really new and interesting designs disappear from view after just a few minutes.
In this way, Bambulab will not receive the desired “quality content”.
Can’t you limit the auto import to a few uploads per day per user in order to retain the benefit of the “New Uploads” area?

what irks me is that articulated models imported from printables/Thingiverse also get to import GIFs of their model in use, but we can’t upload anything like that on MakerWorld (not that I can see?)
I feel like people are more likely to download a model that has its articulation shown in the feature image, as a gif, than watching a video in the description (which isn’t the thing that makes them click through to see said description).
It wasn’t supported for a while but is now
I think it’s less about the import, but just some people’s models are more quality/interesting than others and the ratio will always have more models that are low effort/unusable than good ones.
The import feature let tons of popular creators move their stuff over to MakerWorld and even without the import, there would still be lots of low effort models.
